Revolution Rock Chemical Sound Special
For twenty years Chemical Sound served as a recording studio primarily for independent bands and artists known for its vintage recording sounds. Through out its twenty years as a studio it has produced recordings by Sloan, Death From Above 1979, The Black Keys, C’MON, The Constantines, Tokyo Police Club, Windsor’s Orphan Choir and many, many more. In February of 2012, they closed their doors for good. On Tuesday September 25th Revolution Rock will devote an entire program to Chemical Sound. The show will focus on a collection of recordings that has come from the studio. The show will coincide with an interview done for my website revrock.blogspot.com with Dean Marino and Jay Sadlowski, the final owners and operators of the space.
So tune into Revolution Rock on Tuesday September 25th from 10:30 – Noon, where we will celebrate the music of Chemical Sound, only on CJAM 99.1 FM, where we redefine radio in Windsor and Detroit.
