Whole lotta movin’ going on!

We’ve got more moves than a game of shuffleboard!  CJAM 99.1 FM has added some brand new shows to our line-up:

Some Folk Get the Blues – Tuesdays from 9 to 10:30 AM (part of our World and Roots music block)
An eclectic mix of blues and folk, with a healthy portion of country and world music thrown in! Join your host Devon Pastorius as he gives you an overview of the development of these genres!

Dachshund – Wednesdays from 5 to 6 PM (part of our Genre Focus music block)
Dachshund is silly, funny and dramatic. The program focuses primarily on theatre and comedy music with host Matthew Froese.

Ipso Facto – Thursdays from 12:30 to 1 PM (part of our Spoken Word programming block)
Ipso Facto is a program featuring discussion of popular legal concepts, current legal news, local legal initiatives, and special-guest members of the legal community. Your host Rachel Manno will aim to foster interest in local legal community.

The Windsor Scene – Thursdays from 6 to 7 PM (part of our Genre-Focus Music block)
Continuing on in the footsteps of previous hosts in promoting Windsor and Essex County artists. Join Stephen Hargreaves for a detailed look at our city’s music scene, past and present.

American Frank – Thursdays from 8 to 8:30 PM (part of our Spoken Word Programming block)
A program containing vibrant discussion on current U.S. political events from host Frank Jacobs.

Windsor Arab Voice – Saturdays from 10 to 11 AM (part of our Ethno-Cultural Programming block)
Join host Mike Wafa as he brings you music and news from Windsor’s Arabic community.

The following programs have moved in our broadcasting schedule:

Jump Kat Jump! – Wednesdays from 7 to 8 PM
A roots show specializing in 50’s rock n’ roll. Join Gino Pignanelli each week as he brings you the best in rockabilly and blues!

W.I.N.G.S. (Women’s International News Gathering Service) – Thursdays from 12 to 12:30 PM
WINGS: Women’s International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.

The Judy Adams Program – Thursdays from 1 to 2:30 PM
Judy Adams celebrates her 3 year anniversary with CJAM, as well as her 40th anniversary in radio, with a new timeslot – 1-2:30pm on Thursdays.  Tune in for a global mix of progressive music of the past present and the future!

Latin Waves – Fridays from 6 to 7 AM
Our mandate is to cover local/national and international issues making those critical political connections, we bring our listeners in-depth coverage of issues with a focus on the history of an issue and what that history means for us today and most importantly what we can do to move society forward in a healthy way.  Syndicated from CJSF in Vancouver, BC.

Signals of Intuition – Saturdays from midnight to 2 AM
Two hard-hitting hours of the best melodic hard rock and heavy metal from around the globe, spanning four of the heaviest decades with your host Brandon Wright.

Featuring new music from the progressive underground and fearless programming for the discerning ear.
